Underneath the Hood: Special Edition the X13b
So as many of you have seen, one of my more recent creations is the X13b-Grand Naga (Seen Here). I've finally taken one apart and took some shots of the barebones frame so that all you wonderful MFZ fanatics out there can try your hand at building one of your own (or your own kickass variant). So here ya go! If you do something with this, please let me know. I'd love to see it!

What is the name of that cross piece / design id in the centre of the torso? I've never seen one of those before.
ReplyDeleteIt's a pneumatic t-piece, #4697b
DeleteCheers! Thanks so much, it's really fascinating to see how the joints work on these frames, it's really using lego in a way I'd never really considered before. I'm so used to thinking about connecting with just studs and rods, but this whole tap/tpiece/clip tile thing is really blowing my mind.
ReplyDeleteSo how in the world does the wheel/tire connect to the heel of the foot? (Your stuff continues to amaze me, I'll totally be joining the serpent legion when i get my hands on the rules).
